Understanding Doha Metro Ticket Prices

The Doha Metro is widely regarded as one of the most affordable and modern transit networks globally. How the 6 QAR Daily Cap Works

The automated daily spending cap is one of the greatest perks of riding the Doha Metro. You never need to purchase an expensive day pass upfront:

1. Trip 1: You tap in and out with your Standard card: 2 QAR is deducted (Total: 2 QAR).
2. Trip 2: You take your second ride later in the day: 2 QAR is deducted (Total: 4 QAR).
3. Trip 3: You make your third trip: 2 QAR is deducted (Total: 6 QAR — daily cap reached).
